my laptop is toshiba
i never had any problems with the wireless connection before
but recently it sometimes disconnected,only when i played games
and it was like really hard to reconnect,i tried to bring my laptop closer to the router (my laptop is in my room and the router is in the living room), then i tried to reconnect, but I failed so then I restarted my computer but I still couldn't reconnect.
Then I reboot the router, once it worked, but today it didn't, and it was automatically reconnected after like 5-10 minutes.
The thing is, my sister had her computer turned on too and her connection was fine (her computer is next to the router)

Someone help me pls, this really bugs me!!

do i understand this correctly if i say that now your connection problem exists is not only when playing games but even on ordinary tasks?

have you tried replacing the wireless card yet just to narrow down the possibilities?

no,it's just when i play games
i'm thinking to,but i try not to if possible,because everything about computer hardware is so expensive here :(

have you tried connecting to the router directly via ethernet cable? if so, did it get disconnected?

i tried to use the cable,it still dc,although not really often as when i used wireless
i wonder why it just dc when i played game,it's dota anyway if you wanna know

so when directly connected to the router via ethernet cable, the same thing happened? is your router connected to a modem? if so, try connecting directly to the modem just to eliminate the router as one of the causes.

by the way you mentioned about your sister's computer. does it get disconnected when playing the same game?

yea,but occasionally,only once this far
um,i'm not sure i can do that,the modem is too far
i never tried to play it on my sister's computer

well you can test your laptop in another location.. like a friend's house if it gets disconnected there. at this point i do not think it is your laptop. i think it could be your router or your internet connection as you get disconnected regardless on wireless or wired. unfortunately there is no other laptop to test with.

on the other hand, ask also the help of your ISP provider, i believe they can best address the disconnection issues.
