Company computer giving me fits

I have a Dell laptop with Windows XP. This is my work computer. Everytime I log onto my company’s server, everything slows down and freezes up. I constantly have to reboot.

Also, when I am in my Outlook calendar, it takes forever to enter in an entry. I click the day and nothing happens and when I start typing, the words aren’t on the screen until 30 seconds later.

My boss seems to think it is user error but 2 other people are having issues as well. Can anyone tell me what is possibly wrong?

hi,

what is the specs of this laptop (CPU, RAM, etc.)? what is your connection to your company's server (LAN, VPN, dialup, etc)?
