HP Compaq Presario V2000 ***

Hey my old girl was working on her laptop when it shutdown, Browsing Net and ****.

She restarted it and it would not load past BIOS. I have changed Every component in this laptop excluding the Mother Board of course and i still get nothing.

I have run the Notebook solely on power and solely on Battery Still nothing. Have Physically stripped the computer and cleaned components still nothing. Thinking ***......

Now the message that will load up is press F2 to go to setup press F12 to go to boot order.

Oh yer and i cant get to BIOS either :P.....

Every now and then the computer will go past BIOS and say a second message Press F10 to go to Setup :S...... yer strange....

Any suggestions?

It's looking like a hard drive problem. Go into setup and see if the hard drive shows up in there.

Do you have a Windows XP cd?
