Can't hear any sound!
Well my uncle had this laptop he through out.
all it needed was a hdd, so bought one installed xp sp2, got everything perfect! but no sound! well i need its driver, need help finding it. heres my info: (i dont know wat the heck to post, so heres my whole EVEREST- Report) http://www.sendspace.com/file/25kzy3 |

well i click windows update, then it has a screen to boot it
"when you connect, how do you want to connect..." i select, "if my devide needs a driver, go to windows update without asking" click ok, and nothing happens, andi do this repeadeatly edit: i went to this site- http://www.update.microsoft.com/micr....aspx?ln=en-us and wanting to download the updates manually but the bar with the green going from left to right is going for ever Last edited by USprodigy; 05-14-2008 at 06:19 AM. |

check it's not muted somewhere or the sound turned down
in the device manager click on view at the top and show hidden devices then check if there is any yellow in the listings

this will identify the yellow
http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html for the usb in the device manager click on view at the top and in the dropdown show hidden devices then uninstall all listed usb items turn the computer off unplug usb plugs reboot twice replug in the usb plugs

downloaded, then i apperently already have it, since it only gave me the options to upgrade/reinstall and remove
well it was about to finish, then it says: "Driver Not Found! Reboot, Your System, and run this setup again" so i did but it gives me the same thing. |
