IBM-laptop screen abrubt colour change.
Hi all,
I am using one of the Z series IBM laptops since I bought it about 1.5years back. From last 4-5months, when I am working on the laptop, all of a sudden the screen becomes either blank or most of the times becomes totally pink/blue or any other colour!! During early days of this problem, I used to restart the system. Now, I just make it to hibernate and then log-in after few seconds. This is quite annoying and can I know what the problem might be? How much would it cost to get it fixed. I am in New Zealand and is very hard to find people dealing with IBM laptops! Thanks in advance to all. |

Re: IBM-laptop screen abrubt colour change.
hi vsa24,
try using an external monitor if it displays the same symptom. also run PC doctor diagnostics. if this is a Z60m (just guessing here), it can be downloaded from this page http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...&validate=true EDIT: please provide complete details of laptop (brand and model and product number). this will be a very big help for us and will prevent guess work. thanks.
