My acer laptop doesnt work

I got this laptop around christmas time and a couple of days ago i started getting a green light down my screnn, i woke up on sunday may 11 and it wouldnt turn on, we figured out it was the screen. What can i do to fix it

Please help

Should still be under Warranty return it for repairs,

Most places just need proof of purchase.
