dead machine

i have a toshiba laptop first i had ablue screen which turned to black , now it will not boot at all not even with bootable disc's. can someone help please

tap f8 when booting and see if you can get safe mode
try
last known good configuration
check you can see the hard drive listed in the bios

Does the computer even post? Do you have any warranty on the laptop. Seems like probably dead motherboard.
