[SOLVED] Unable to watch movies

Hi,
Everyone i bought used laptop,everything was fine four days back,i was just trying to learn something (in fact not computer expert)while fidling something went wrong in device manager or in components systems i dont remember exactly,now my problem is i cannot watch movies in my laptop its a HP PAVILION Dv 2000 the drive spines the disc but unable to see picture i mean it doesnt start as it should.any input would be appreciated.
need instructions step by step to make it work thanks in advance.

Vow! nobody knows,what might went wrong while fidling,i can see real players video clips,but unable to see movie.anyone out there?

you can try doing a system restore to a restore point just prior to the problem.

Hi,
Mr Trigger finger,i followed the link on top,while installing Tweakui power setup its showing me this message.

F:| Tweakui power setup_ia64,exe is not valid win 32 application.

second thing accidently i delete window media player before,this time install window media player11,now while installing this too gives this meassage.

setup.wm.exe.unable to locate component.

this application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found.reinstalling the application may fix this problem.before it was showing conn.dll was not found and i delete nokia file that was solve out,Now this is driving me crazy.as i already said iam not expert in computers.when i put disc in drive,its makes sound whizzzes and it stops it doesnt play movie.please help me out.

Hi,
thanks Mr trigger finger,my problem is solve out.I installed tweakui and checked all drives were in enable modes.In fact the problem was in dvd disc itself.Sorry i tried two disc and both was not working after fidling in settings.i was panic and didn't checked other dvds in drive.thankyou very much for putting an effort in my post.
