How can I Install OS Xp to New Sony FZ31Z

Hi:
I am trying to do a fresh install of Win XP pro to my new laptop Sony VGN-FZ31Z and I face the fooling problem !
When I run the cd of win xp I select the F6 option in order to install additional driver for sata, all goes ok, but after the format of the disk and wean start to load the operation files appear a message that says : Insert the disk labeled: Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver into drive A.
Since now I use the original drivers but I download the intels driver for the web and I don’t see any change !
Can somebody help me ?

Re: How can I Install OS Xp to New Sony FZ31Z

hi fynos,

are the drivers on this page http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21

the very drivers you downloaded? did you use a USB floppy drive to install the SATA drivers (F6 in Windows install)? if you did try using nlite to slipstream the SATA drivers or use another floppy drive. i say this because i have read similar situations where the USB floppy drive is not recognized properly during XP install (i think this is BIOS related).

hi fynos,

well if you have another floppy drive to try, then use it. if not, use nlite to include the SATA drivers to your XP install/setup. you may need a blank CD to do the slipstream. try the instructions here:
