Compaq C700 laptop power on problem..

help.. i cant power on my laptop.. when i press the power button, nothing happen... it wont start/on.. also when i plug the adapter, usually there will be a blue light.. but, now its not... what happen.. i just bought d laptop 2 days ago.. and it was brand new.. and i just install xp in it..

any help will be much apreciated..

1.) Take the battery off from the laptop and try to power up the laptop with only the AC adapter hook onto it.

2.) If this doesn't work then take off the AC adapter and put the battery pack back onto the laptop. Try turning on the laptop with only the battery hooked in.

Worst case take it back to where you bought it and get a refund or an exchange.

is this brand new? i suggest it is best if you return it and claim warranty.

yep..brand new.. hmm.. if there's no other way, then..okay.. i should return it.. but can i exchange it?

This depends on who you bought it from. Some will give you another one, others will want to repair it.
