Good laptop going Bad!
I have Windows XP, D820 Latitude (dell laptop), 2gig ram.
pretty much since I've had my laptop, 1.5 yrs. It will work fine with games and videos fine, but after about five minutes or so it starts to slow down and goes to 100% cpu usage. After a minute or so it will return to normal usage but then after a little while it will return to 100% and it fluctuates like that. The usage comes from system, and with in system, services for the most part, other random programs will take up usage that aren't even being used. Also agent.exe will pop up and leave when it becomes very slow also. I've run reg cleaners, optimizers, spyware removers from a bunch of different products but nothing works |

Re: Good laptop going Bad!
thanks for replying zeppfan you are the first person to respond to any of my posts on a couple boards.
Its a nifty program but did not fix my problem, when I had 100% cpu usage I had about a lil over half of my ram left, like 1140 out 2gb |
