Sony Vaio Half Speed Clock on Battery
I've got a new Sony Vaio with a T2330 intel processor. When plugged in running cpuz I can see the processor scale and jump up to 1.6 ghz. No matter how many power options I change, such as minimum scaling at 100%, on battery the processor will never go over 6x multiplier 800mhz. Any idea what is going on, I've tried uninstalling Sony power management and just using vista's with the same effect. Thanks for the help.
