Laptop turns off
Hi
My toshiba laptop is about 4 years old, it's a Satellite M30, was working fine, although the battery would not charge for about 6 months now. Last week all of a sudden it just powered off, I moved the power cord and it turned back on, but than turned off again. It would only turn on if I removed the battery so I did. It was fine, but now it's doing it again (the battery is not in at all). The power is plugged in but the blue light isn't always on... Also, I can't hear the fan going anymore either... Please help, I don't have money to buy a new one! Thanks!! |

Re: Laptop turns off
The power plug is the weak spot in almost all laptops . . and it ain't easy to fix. How handy are you with a soldering iron?
Sometimes you can use duct tape to hold it firmly and still in the socket . . does not look very elegant, but will often stop it from loosing the connection. If the battery is the original one, it is likely time to replace it.
