[SOLVED] What is a good recomended ant-virus for Vista?

Hi, i own a Sony Vaio preinstalled Vista Home 32 bit, and lately my computer has gone slow it was really fast at first (obviously) and as time passes it keeps getting slower and slower. i've already installed Norton Symantec AntiVirus on the system but it deosn't to be doing much. i was woundering if someone could recomend me somthing better. i use the internet alot to surf webs, college work and other stuff.

I recommend AVG, better than norton for sure.

I recommend running a tune-up on your computer since it's running slow. Scan your computer for viruses and spyware, run checkdisk repair, deframentation, and also clear your temp files.

do a disk cleanup,defrag
check for malware follow the 5 steps here
