USB Ports Don't Work Anymore
I got an acer laptop about 3 months ago and it has worked fine for the most part. However about a month ago my built in webcam stopped working. Now i never used it so i didn't really care, however later that month i tried to put some info on my USB Flash stick, and it didn't work, saying that there was an unknown device in the Port. After hours of trying i finally gave up, and then i tried to put some songs on my MP3 player, which also used the USB port. And it to got the same error. I would say that the USB Ports are broken but i have a USB mouse that works fine with them. The built in webcam also uses one of the usb ports (but its internal). Any reason or suggestions you can give me on how to fix or bypass this problem would be great. BTW the laptop was refurbish but originally all of the ports worked fine.

Is your unit still under warranty... if so, I suggest you claim warranty and have it replaced first. In as much as we would like to help, we encourage to use the warranty first.

Re: USB Ports Don't Work Anymore
I have a one year warrenty on my laptop and have only had it for about 4 months so i can get it replaced. But i've grown to like this laptop and have information and program that would be annoying to be moved over so do you have a second suggestion?
