Noisy laptop

Hi I'm new here and I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.

Ok my laptop has started making a very loud droning noise. It's pretty loud and comes and goes, sometimes it dies down but it comes back again within seconds.

I have a Medion MD95454, Model No: WIM 2070 Notebook PC.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Noisy laptop

hi, could be that your hard drive is on its way out. my laptop made a quite loud noise for a while, especially when it was being moved about whilst on. it got worse until the hdd failed. would advise you to back up important stuff just in case it is the hard drive

Re: Noisy laptop

Hey, thanks for the replies!
It sounds like a fly is trapped in there to be honest.
Yesterday it stopped after I took the back off and had a look around. It was fine right up until last night when I turned it off. This morning it's started again.
Any suggestions on what to do next appreciated, thanks.

Re: Noisy laptop

Hmm does this sound happen to sound abit like a electrical whine? and does it fluctuate from high and low pitch?

I have the identicle laptop using it now. And mine does that.
