Removing 2.5" HD
Hello. This is my first post here so please bear with me.
I want to know if I remove a working HD from a laptop, will I lose any data when I plug the same HD back in? Also, can I use a HD from one laptop to another without losing data? Thanks. |

Re: Removing 2.5" HD
you should not lose any data by removing the drive but if you use in in another computer you should still have access to the data but you will have to replace the operating system if its oem.
as with anything accidents can happen. If you have any data you cannot afford to lose, back it up before removing.
