I was trying to open up my toshiba satellite A60 laptop in order to clean the fan since it was overheating very fast. stupidly
i didn't read anything on how to take it apart. i felt like something broke near the parts that hold the monitor.after i finished cleaning, i closed it up and tunred it on, THERE WAS NOTHING on the screen ... blank. am i in trouble ? or might this only be a wire i can reconnect ... please help me

Re: help needed !! toshiba A60 no screen

download the service manual for your model and start from there. at this point it is very hard to say what is broken unless you open it up again... only this time you are doing it the 'service manual' way. once you opened it up, check the connections for the LCD. again refer to the manual. do post back what happens...
