Someone please help me. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400.

A few days ago my friend gave me his ipod to plug into my laptop. His was a different model then mine so I had to install the hardware or w/e. During the installation my laptop froze for about 10 minutes, but the music kept playing. Then once it unfroze the music kept breaking, and making static like noises. I ran ad-ware and installed norton to clean up the laptop but it the problem still proceeds. Not only is the audio messed up, but also my laptop sometimes starts lagging. It also takes much longer to turn on my laptop.

Hi louroo,

well seems to me there is incompatibility somewhere... anyway i always do 'last in, first out' when that sort of thing happens to me. try to uninstall it and see what happens.

I did and it's still not any better.

I think it is incompatibility too. But it is not enough to uninstall the program because some parts of it stay in RegistryBase, so if you know how to find them in RB then it shouldn't be a problem, or you can find someone that knows a little nit about RegistryBase and fix it easily.
Good luck solving the problem and tell us if you have some additional problems.
