Foirmatting issues for a Toshiba Satellite

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite A215, with Vista Home Premium. AMD Thurion 64, 32 bit, I GHz Ram, 160 G HD. It has 6 months of constant used. A few weeks ago starts to run very slowly, it froze when I scanned it for virus and spyware. My virus software starts to find many trojan viruses, but they were deleted.

So I deleted a few software and files that weren´t used often. The laptop continue presenting the same problems. I tried to format the laptop as I did a couple times before, using the recovery and applications disk that the laptop brought it.

I followed the instructions, the disk charge the files needed in the formatting operation, but then the disk reader stop reading and the laptop stays on but doing absolutely nothing.

Someone has an idea of what´s happening? I want´my laptop working back.
