Overheated Toshiba Satellite laptop

I let my Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501 on and it overheated.
Now it does not come on.
Can anybody give my an idea what might be wrong with it.
I want to try to fix it.

Thank you

Re: Overheated Toshiba Satellite laptop

it doesnt turn on at alll right??? does any battery charging lights or AC(light thatb tells u its plugged in) come on when plugged in????

my guess is u may of frazzeled a core compnent of the laptop but if lights come on still it could be a burnt out component like the VGA(graphics card onbord or decidated) or your monthboard may have compelty failed. i take it your lapops out of warrenty????

if you are goin to try and fix your self look here for a guide on how to dismatle your toshiba 5105.
