Thinpad T30 docking station mouse/pcmcia
System Thinkpad T30 running XP Pro, 512MB, 60GB, docking station
I installed a PCMCIA USB 2.0 several months ago card in my wife's docking station (mainly to attached an external hard drive to make automatic full & incremental backups to) and I just realized today when, for the heck of it, I pulled the USB card out that it "unfroze" the mouse and started working correctly. I tried putting it in the other dock PCMCIA port and eventually got the mouse to stop responding again. Funny thing is that I re-replaced the PCMCIA USB card a few weeks ago when I thought it failed (I just put the old USB card into another laptop and and it's fried). Could there be a driver that I need to update or something? Thanks, Rod |
