Windows xp won't intall new usb drivers
Hi, right now I'm going around every PC support board I can find in order to solve this problem I've been having on my laptop.
For some reason now whenever I try to plug in a new USB device, like my digital camera or my mp4 player, the Found New Hardware Wizard will appear, search for the drivers to install the hardware, won't find them, and then simply won't install the device. The only USB devices it takes now seem to be things that were already installed long ago like my mouse and my printer. Nothing else works. I have tried almost everything, at first i though there was something wrong with my drivers, so i carried out the ccleaner then the registry cleaner, but i am still having this problem. I have also tried deleting my usb drivers from my device manager, rebooted my latop, reinstalled the usb drivers but this has not worked is well. It has now been almost 2 weeks that i have been searching for some solution, what do i do, please help I would be so thankful if someone can help me sort this out. |
