Need sound driver for Compaq Presario F731AU

Hi there, a few days I had a problem with Windows XP which forced me to do a system restore via a guide I found online. I managed to get XP to work again but unfortunately in the process of restoring, it somehow wiped out all my drivers and I had to reinstall them again. Fortunately I managed to locate and restore my video drivers but I am still unable to locate the correct drivers for my audio. All I know from what I have found thus far is that it probably is a Conexant High Definition Audio device, but the drivers I have found for it are not compatible with my laptop, for some unknown reason.

Here are the specs for my laptop as per below.

I have also attached the full specs as generated by PC Wizard 2008. If anyone has the same or similar setup as I do, there is a possibility that your audio drivers are compatible with mine. Can you please help?

First thing to remember about this sound modem thing. BOTH REQUIRE that the MS UAA driver be installed! If not the installation files for your modem and your sound card will NOT BE FOUND. In simple terms it can't find the devices!

So first thing check to see if you have the Microsoft UAA driver installed, in the Device Manger.
