Re: HP Pavilion ez4400

do you see anything on the screen when you power it ON? also do you hear any devices starting up like the optical drive, the HDD, or FDD (if you have it). can you atleast go into BIOS settings?

Re: HP Pavilion ez4400

just to test if it is a screen lcd problem or not; how about using an external monitor and check if you see anything coming up on the monitor.

did you try to update the bios and somehow failed in the attempt? or this happened just one day without warning?

Re: HP Pavilion ez4400

Hi digger216!

Do you try to boot up using a power adapter plugged in? Try to do that. And is there anything you do to the laptop last time it worked properly, like drop it accidently or such?
