Blue Screen Keeps coming up with my hp
I have an HP dv2432nr laptop. I've had this laptop for less than a month and now i'm having serious problems. At first it kept telling me i had windows updates ever time i turned it off and it would and install them. it must of did this to me like 30 times. so i got fed up with it and decided to reformat my computer to factory settings. so now ever time i get my laptop running right away it goes to a blue screen that says
a problem as been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. if this screen appears again, follow these steps. check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. if problems continue. disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. disable BIOS memory option such as catching or shadowing. if you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and use then select safe mode. I've also tried reformating again and it didn't work |

Re: Blue Screen Keeps coming up with my hp
Hmmm........This could be a driver issue. Can you get into safe mode at all by pressing F8 in the beginning?
If you can, you can go to the device manager and un-install some hardware such as intergrated nic card, intergrated wireless card, soundcard, videocard drivers, reboot the computer and see if the problem disappears. If everything is ok then install the drivers once again. Also try and see if you can update the chipset drivers of the laptop. computer_doctor |
