Toshiba No Sound Bar = No Sound?
hi my sound has gone and i think its because the volume bar that comes up when i adjust the voulme scroller at the bottom has gone also. I had a virus and then wiped it out using SpyWare Doctor 2006 and now no sound or volume bar. i have tried downloading the drivers off toshiba and realtek. i have xp toshiba a120 satellite pro. im in UK - england. my volume bar on the quick task menu in the bottom right is fine, i have tried everything to get my sound back honestly. Im 99% sure it was the virus, ne thing to help me with. please do not suggest stuff like check if its muted and download the realtek drivers it dont work.
thnks. |

Re: Toshiba No Sound Bar = No Sound?
If you are using Windows XP as your operating system then try performing a windows repair and hopefully you got a windows xp cd as you will need it to perform windows xp.
The last thing you might want to do is to backup all of your data, reformat your computer, and then install windows xp fresh. Then hopefully you get the sound back on your computer. computer_doctor |
