is the beeping alarm sound suggests a shortcircuit?
Hello
Yesterday night my son threw up on the laptoop, mostly on the keyboard, within 2 minutes the laptop started to emit a loud alarm like sound.I turned it off.Now the lap top will turn on but will not boot, the combination of ctl-alt-del is not recognised. Is it worth the time to open the TOSHIBA TECRA9000 and try to clean it from inside, or is it a goner? many thanks webclass |

Re: is the beeping alarm sound suggests a shortcircuit?
Hi webclass!!
Is your laptop still under warranty. If it is, you might want consider to send it to manufacturer back, so that they can repair it for you. Usually, the beep sound indicate something related hardware failed inside, most commonly is RAM or motherboard (eventhough it might graphic or other devices as well)
