Re: White screen

So the no signal happens on the external monitor? And notebook is always white? Uninstall then reinstall video drivers (of course might as well update at the same time). The way I read seems like problem start once video is handed over to OS. Could be two problems, but start w/drivers. Easy free and will fix or rule out all or part.

Re: White screen

Hi thanks for that did what you said and it worked but when i rebooted a box came up saying SCU undo the changes you made in the general tab and tick here not to show this message again and in the bottom right it said it was installing drivers when rebooted it reverted back to itself no connection on signali uninstalled the drivers again and it booted up again but same message then after rebooting back to square one many thanks and on reading comments on here and other pages on the net i have 2 plugs leading from the monitor if i unplug the left one the screen goes blank so i think that means the backlight is working so could i need a new inverter thanks again
