Installing XP on SATA with no FDD
Hi, I've been trying to get XP on my laptop, and it doesn't have a floppy drive, so I've been trying to get the SATA drivers on there another way, I've been using nLite to load the drivers onto an image of the installation CD and then burning it off onto a blank and installing XP. But it doesn't work, it's saying that it can't find a HDD installed.
What am I doing wrong? I have an Asus F3SR laptop ( Link Here) I've been installing the 32bit eSATA driver (says it's for Vista, does that mean it doesn't work with XP?) and I see it loading the driver during the XP setup screen, but it doesn't work. Thanks!
