Dell Inspiron 5160 not turning on

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 5160 and a couple of days ago when i started it, it turned on and started up and everything had just gone done loading and all of a sudden it just turned off. I pushed the power button and no response, no lights or anything. I tried it without the battery, just the battery, a battery
There's no response and none of the lights flash..

You may want to check the PSU. My boy has a 5160. I bought it for him with the three year extended warranty and was told they had issues with the power supplies. Unfortunately that didn't cure my boy's laptop (same problem as yours).

Ultimately we had to send it back in and they replaced the mobo.
