Windows Restart On Game Load
I recently formatted my laptop and reinstalled windows. Previously i was able to play Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, but since the formatting i have been unable to do so. When loading up the game the screen goes black and then the computer just restarts itself; upon loading windows back up i get a error report that when sent says i have a hardware problem. Looking on the forums i have seen other people with similar problem who then went through the mini dump files to find the problem, i have attempted this but am unable to understand what the debugger is telling me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

turn of the auto reboot and post the error message the computer freezes on
did you reload all the drivers after formatting

Re: Windows Restart On Game Load
I turned off the auto reboot setting and tried again to load the game. When it gets to the same point my screen went completely blue and no error message appeared on the screen.
I don't have any visual problems with my hardware under the system devices but there may have been a driver that i missed reinstalling, will i have to go through all drivers and reinstall them all? |

Re: Windows Restart On Game Load
One of my hidden devices has an ! next to it, this is serial. I also had Daemon Tools running on my computer which i have now removed but i believe has left behind an SCSI/RAID Host Controller which has an ! next to it. I have uninstalled it but everytime i reboot my computer it comes back, i don't know if this is having any effect on the problem??

Re: Windows Restart On Game Load
if you double click on the items and look in their properties, you will see what the problem is
usually the drivers need reloading
