help me please

can anyone help me, i have a advent qrc 430 and im trying to change my graphic card settings from 32 to 64, i know its on board graphics just dont know how to change it any help much appreciated

Hi, do you mean the video card framebuffer (shared video memory)?

i have been looking into it and dont think i can change it cos my graphics are on board ,im running os vista 32

You can increase the video memory size in the BIOS. It looks like that has Intel graphics which use dynamically allocated video memory. This means the BIOS will give more memory to the video card depending on how much is needed. Usually it will only increase it in 3D games.

You can increase your game performance by upgrading the RAM, which will improve the performance of the game application in Windows as well as allow the graphics card to take more memory as video memory.

The stock RAM for that laptop is 1GB and you should be able to upgrade it to 2GB. Check the specifications in your manual and see if it says anything about allowing a RAM upgrade.

unfortunatly it wont allow me to change my settings in the bios it dosnt give me the option, but i have put another 1g of ram in so i hope that helps
