Hi helpls!!

Try to hard reset your laptop. You can do so by turning off your computer. Plug out the power cable. Take out the battery from your laptop. After you plug out the power cable and take out the battery, press and hold power button on laptop (yup, without the battery and power plug) for around 20 seconds.

Then, put back your battery, and plug back the power cable. Try to turn on the laptop now. See whether it is working now

Re: HELP PLS ... keyboard, mouse don't work properly after windows starts

Hi again helpls!!

Its seems maybe your ACPI power driver corrupted. It might be the case. Try to uninstall the ACPI driver and restart the computer. See whether that resolves your issue.

p/s:
You can uninstall the ACPI driver by right click on My Computer, click on Properties. Click on Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager. Now, press the plus sign beside the System Devices. Right click on ACPI Fixed Feature, choose Uninstall. Then, restart

If it does not work, we might need to update the chipset driver and see whether that work

Re: HELP PLS ... keyboard, mouse don't work properly after windows starts

Go to your computer manufacture's website and download the drivers. Turn your laptop upside down and look for a service tag number. That number when inputted in the Manufacturer's search will tell you exactly what was installed on that computer and in most cases give you the downloads for each driver.

Sounds like your drivers dissappeared. Very simple to correct.

Hi again helpls!!

Sorry for the late reply. Can you provide the model number of the computer and the motherboard chipset. If you don't know the chipset you can try download cpu-z or everest, the link is under my signature down there

Re: HELP PLS ... keyboard, mouse don't work properly after windows starts

I tried to install most of the drivers already ... it didn't seem to work, even after i formated the computer. Most of the drivers except the BIOS and chipset.
But it always works right after i get the low battery message, till i restart the computer.

Did you try to run the laptop using the power from wall outlet, not just battery?

Re: HELP PLS ... keyboard, mouse don't work properly after windows starts

If i take out the battery and run it just on AC it works. But if i put the battery back in ... it won`t work anymore till the battery discharges.

And also if i unplug the computer, even with the battery full, it shows the message "Low battery" but the computer keeps working for an hour.

But i didn't update the chipset or BIOS yet.

This might be because of the chipset driver. Before guiding you further, I would try to ask my colleagues help here first

try changing the battery, if its a few yrs old, it needs it anyway
goodluck

Re: HELP PLS ... keyboard, mouse don't work properly after windows starts

I will probably buy a new laptop soon. Just don't feel like wasting any money on this old one.

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.

Hi again helpls!!

So it seems like the battery is the issue here, as the speedster123 said

You can still use the laptop, however, by using just the power outlet without the battery. I have a laptop too, which I use it that way when the battery is already defected. If you need any recommendation on buying a new laptop, you can post at the laptop support forum again
