Toshiba Laptop

I am working on a Toshiba Satellite PSM42U-019006. It is shutting down sporadically. I think the fan on the underneath side stopped working as I can see it is not spinning and I think the system is overheating causing it to shut down.
I never disassembled this particular make/model so I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find a manual or instructions on removing/replacing this fan the easy way? If not I will be doing it the hard way

Hi TJ,

Unfortunately I have not worked with that model nor does Google provide much info other than that it is a Dothan Pentium M and most likely Socket 479. If you remove the bottom covers/panels, can you clearly see the cooling assembly including the processor socket and heatplate/heatpipe assembly over the processor?

Im happy to say that the laptop is torn apart. Unfortunately it needed to be totally disassembled. The fan is bad, smelted burnt so I now am replacing.
