Help with no screen on laptop display possible bad inverter board.........
Ok I have a around HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop, now the issue is theres no screen that comes up on the display. But if hook up a external monitor it works great no issues. Now that got me thinking the video card is still good. Ok but I can get some type of screen with the laptop display if I touch and or squeeze the laptop screen with my hands/fingers. But the color are messed up though it has like a greenish tint color to the whole screen.
If i push down on the little switch that all laptops have to turn off the backlight it does indeed turn it off and work. Now I heard common issues with laptop displays not working is a bad inverter circuit board. Now with the diagnostics steps I gave you guys is it a still bad inverter board or what. I thought the inverter board is located in the laptop casing not the display casing shell. Because I called a local pc shop ehre and he said sometimes the inverter board could be in the display casing shell. Because what does it mean when if I touch and or squeeze the laptop screen it'll come, but its not a good regular color screen, its kind of like green and distorted picture. Thanks........ |
