Looking for the BEST Memory

I have an Acer Aspire 5100, and am looking to upgrade from 2GB to 4GB.
I require DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300)memory but want the best. I currently have Corsair and like it but was wondering if there is a better brand and also going w/4GB would I require a model with a heat spreader.
Any thoughts?

Re: Looking for the BEST Memory

I would go for kingston, thats my personal choice. But then since you have corsair, i am not sure it would be compatible to mix them both.

I know that as long as both the memory are the same type, it should be okay though.

Re: Looking for the BEST Memory

Sorry I did not completely explain. I have 2 slots currently occupied by 2 1GB units. I would be replacing both with 2 x 2gb. Kinston is also good, That is what I have in my Pc. Just looking for extra input before deciding. I would get 2 of the same just to be safe.
