Laptop Power Problem?
I have a Presario V2000. Probably a little over a year old. Here is the problem:
When I plug the charger into the computer, the charger post gets extremely hot. The area beneath the charger slot (where I plug into the computer) gets hot as well. It will charge enough to boot up but then turns off after a few minutes because of the lack of power. Bought a new charger and that didn't make any difference. Anybody have any ideas? Maybe a new battery or maybe have to change out the power supply inside the computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
