Installing pcmia card ????

Hi hope this is in right group .....recently recieved a camcorder from relative but cannot download videos to my sony vaio laptop I bought a firewire cable only to realize my laptop doesnt have a port for this so now been told to buy a firewire pcmcia 2 port card but havent a clue how your supposed to install it into laptop ??? any help greatfully recieved thanks Chris

nothing hard, most likely it will come with a cd or some sort of instructions.
