wireless problem media is disconnected on my laptop dell latitde d600

Hello to all

well i have tried all mat odes that been offed on this forum but still no solution!!! when i type in ipconfig/relesase and then ipconfig/renew
get all ways the same problem :no operation can be prefprmed on wireless network connection while it has its media disconnected

my router is ok working fine on my ather pc
can any 1 help plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Possibilities:

1) Failing wireless adapter
2) Router needs to be reset (try a power cycle first)
3) Firewall software on the laptop

Any of these looked at?
