Ok i've looked at other threads here searching for an answer to my problem and i've come across similar problems, but the solutions did not work with my laptop.
I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 and it says that it has the dv2125nr entertainment center and it has Windows XP. Well just the other night I was fixing to print something, and went into my print preview screen and it came up with a blue spot on the upper right hand corner and the rest of the screen was just white. I didn't print what i needed and just exed out of the whole thing and shut my computer down. Well the next morning, I tried to turn it on and my screen does nothing. All the lights come on and I hear the fan click on, but that's it. I have tried turning it on and off repeatedly, I even tried putting a disk in and it started up reading the disk, but nothing. But when i plugged a 1gb memory stick, it didn't light up like it was suppose to, it did for a second and nothing. So i'm thinking that there's a little more going on with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
