EEK! HP Pavilion laptop troubles

Ok i've looked at other threads here searching for an answer to my problem and i've come across similar problems, but the solutions did not work with my laptop.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 and it says that it has the dv2125nr entertainment center and it has Windows XP.

Well just the other night I was fixing to print something, and went into my print preview screen and it came up with a blue spot on the upper right hand corner and the rest of the screen was just white. I didn't print what i needed and just exed out of the whole thing and shut my computer down. Well the next morning, I tried to turn it on and my screen does nothing. All the lights come on and I hear the fan click on, but that's it. I have tried turning it on and off repeatedly, I even tried putting a disk in and it started up reading the disk, but nothing. But when i plugged a 1gb memory stick, it didn't light up like it was suppose to, it did for a second and nothing. So i'm thinking that there's a little more going on with it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
