help with cd-rom please!!
hi,i have a compaq evo n110 that has developed a problem with the cd-rom drive and i need some help in solving.when you put a cd into the drive the little disc symbol starts flashing next to the curser then...nothing! i go to start..my computer..d drive..click on that then a message saying please insert disc into d drive!!!! well there is a disc in d drive!!! i do it again and the same message comes up.i've tried different types of cd's but the same happens.is my d drive knackered??? how can i tell as i have checked the device manager and it says device is ok!! if i need to replace the drive could i upgrade to a cd/dvd drive??? oh,so many questions!!! hope someone can help,kind regards,brucebanana.
