toshiba a75 s2112 help

ok i am going nuts hear. i keep getting ntldr is missing error. i went in to bios with f2 and changed the boot to cd so i can reinstall xp but nothing the cd will not read. i dont have a cd burrner on this one so i cant burn anything for the toshiba. and also i get a pxe-e61 media test failure, check cable error pleas help i wanted to have this fixed for my wife for xmas but i dont think so the way its going for me now any help with this would be great thanks everybody mike

still no luck tried everything cant seem to get it ot boothow can i clean it if i cant get it to read a cd?

If you have not already resolved this problem all it means is its booting by checking your network connection first. change the boot sequence so the network is last, i.e. 1st in line HDD, then cd-rom, then FDD then network or lan. just make the network or lan the last item the computer checks. Hope that helps.
