sony vaio not getting connected to internet
Hi,
I have a brand new Sony vaio laptop loaded with Microsoft windows vista home edition. I am not able to connect to internet through my cable modem. When i chose broadband internet option it is asking for login id and password whereas the cable vendor says no such details are required for connecing to internet. But from the same laptop I am able to browse through wireless without any problem. When I use a dell laptop with Windows XP i am getting automatically connected to the internet through the same cable modem without any trouble. Can anyone help me figure out a solution?
