Sony PCG-K13, BSOD with a restart loop
Hello everyone and Happy Holidays, I hope. I am very new to this forum and found you searching for a resolution to a computer problem we are having. My husband inherited my old Sony PCG-K13 laptop when I upgraded to an HP DV8000. About a month ago he was working on the laptop and all of the sudden he got a blue screen of death. He tried rebooting the computer and the computer came back with the black screen that asks to start in Safe Mode or Normal. He selected normal and received the BSOD and the black screen. He tried with the Safe Mode option and received the black screen and then the BSOD. It will just constantly loop between the two screens. He thoguht it might be the harddrive so he disconnected it and connected it to my laptop without any problems. He tried to connect my harddrive to the laptop and same problem. He is getting ready to be medically discharged from active duty and I would like to be able to surprise him and get this thing fixed so he has a computer when he is completely out of the service. I was wondering if anyone out there has had this problem before or can give me a path to look to figure this problem out.
The three codes we receive on the BSOD are: 0XF79C4528 / 0XC0000034 / 0X00000000 Thank you in advance for all your responses and assistance. Sincerely, Jana Last edited by NavyWife424; 12-17-2007 at 12:24 PM. |
