Question Compaq Armada 110 display problems

Ok i just bought an compaq armada 110 and i am verry pleased of it , it only has one problem and i cannot understand it. When i set it to a resolution higher then 800x600 , the desktop doesnt fit to the screen , i have to use my mouse to scroll the whole desktop . Is there any how i can fix this, i need to use higher resolutions but i need them to fit to screen so i can do my job with it .

I need urgent help please !

If you right click on a blank part of the Desktop and select properties, settings,advanced. You should see all your Video card settings. You should be able to fix it from there.
