Toshiba A40

Hi,

I have 2 yr old Toshiba satellite A40 laptop. It was working fine until one day I got the message saying: " A problem with the cooling system has been detected, Please turn off the computer and return immidieatly for the service".
I cleaned the fan, also I have put the thermal paste between CPU and the cooling system but problem is still there. Any suggestions?? Is it possible to fix this laptop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the cooling fan running at full speed?

Yes, fan is working but cant say for sure about max. speed? Do let me know if I can further provide u with any info to solve the problem.
