hp zv6000 startup problems
I have a zv6000 and in the middle of startup it will shut down. somethimes I can get it to start up but for the most part it just shuts down. kind of a hit and miss. for the most part it shuts down before the windows logo starts to load or just before i enter the start safe mode. there is no error message when i restart it after it just shuts down. I've heard of possible memory or hardrive problems but i dont know how to test them. any suggestions? or anyone know of other problems that can couse this?

Does it seem to stay up longer if you leave the laptop off for a period of time greater than an hour?
It sounds like it could be an overheating issue. Try taking a can of compressed air and blowing dust out of the side vents. Remove the bottom covers if possible and blow dust out with those off.
