enter the system BIOS

I am installing a new hard drive in my sony laptop "model #PCG-9241".

I have read instructions all morning and I'm anticipating the need to enter into the system BIOS. Everything I have read just says if I don't know how to do this "contact the manufacturer for more information".

Well I have had no luck finding this information...Can anyone tell me how to do this?

usually the delete key or f1 or f2

you should not need to enter the bios to install a harddrive. However for your specific model, press f2 at the initial sony screen
