How to get hinges and other minor mechanical repairs made on old Dell Latitude D600

How to get hinges and other minor mechanical repairs made on old Dell Latitude D600

I would like to coax a little more use out of my old Dell Latitude D600. Doing so will require finding someone in the Detroit area to repair at least one hinge and a problematic power supply

Any suggestions for southeast Michigan or Northwest Ohio?

Thanks

Lee

I found some hinges on Ebay for a good price. Just type in d600 hinges.

Depends on how serious you are. You could take or send it in to Dell but expect to pay the price of a new laptop when you get it back.

Give Dell a call if you really want to go that way rather than doing it yourself or having a local shop do it.
